Just to be clear for anglophone readers: the Community of Madrid Orchestra isn’t “community” in the sense of an amateur group made up of non-pros who live in the area.

The “Comunidad de Madrid” is the regional government of metro Madrid (long since split off from Castile), and this is its state orchestra. The OCM is also the resident orchestra for the Teatro de la Zarzuela.
