Justice Ginsburg to play a Donizetti role
mainSupreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a dedicated follower of opera, has agreed to play a role in Washington’s production of Daughter of the Regiment.
Her Honor, 83, will step out on stage as the Duchess of Krakenthorp, a speaking role. Just the once, on opening night, November 12. Then it’s back to the bench.

What a fabulous idea! Good for her! (It’s a small world after all–my father-in-law knew Justice Ginsburg back in their very early Brooklyn years before finding their ‘better halves’. They dated two or three times in their youth. True story. He still remembers this well as he nears 87 years young!) Good luck, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in Daughter of the Regiment.
Should get a ticket for your father-in-law to see his old flame.
