Not many international orchestras touch down at Genghis Khan International Airport. This may be a first.

What a waste of money for an orchestra still in the depths of uncertainty.

Excellent news! There is a strong public for classical music in Mongolia – although the population of the entire country is only around 2.7 million, of whom around 40% live in Ulaanbaatar.

The city maintains an Opera & Ballet theatre – which may be one of the venues for the Philadelphia’s concerts there? The opera is rather conservative in its ways, but the ballet is first-rate. There isn’t a conservatoire in Mongolia – most of the orchestral players have studied in Novosibirsk, across the border. Perhaps this visit might shake things up a bit? 🙂

Absolutely excellent news!! See what can be achieved if you think outside the square with your business?!
