Death of America’s great piano guide
mainAlfred Music have announced the death of Dr Maurice Hinson, author of ten books, including the iconic Guide to the Pianist’s Repertoire and editor of more than 70 editions of piano music.
Hinson was professor of piano in the School of Church Music at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky
Dr. Hinson has left a rich legacy for pianists and the piano repertoire for many decades to follow.
