There is a trio of musicians called “THE PASSAPORT” that frequents that area. They have Youtube videos. The mystery man looks very much like one of The Passaport members. I could be wrong.

On ABC News 24 TV in Australia this morning we saw a clip of a French guy towing his grand piano behind him on a bicycle (strong legs!) and then he set it up and played John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’. Im not sure where in Paris it was but was one of the main spots where people are meeting, leaving flowers, candles etc. Wonderful gesture of solidarity.
Just found a posting further down the blog on this. And he was German, not French.
