Damned right. These people should just stay at home and take pictures of themselves, seeing as they seem to find that more interesting than the places they ‘visit’.

Although I do derive a certain pleasure by “accidentally” walking into these obtrusive appendages if they appear anywhere near me…
Another thought: Not so very long ago, people would ask other tourists or passers-by to take the picture. It was a rather charming way to communicate with total strangers. This has also gone out of the window in our self-obsessed society.
