Prom 7 – BBC Symphony Orchestra/Davis (22 July)

The piece by Hugh Wood referred to in the published guide as Epithalamium will now be known as Epithalamion.

    It’s because of the change of the B flat in bar 273 of the second clarinet into A sharp.

    This is devastating news…………..I was psychologically prepared for Epithalamium and not Epithalamion……………….
