The difficulties of the English language are demonstrated by this headline which could mean 2 completely different things.
I can think of three:
a) They’re playing together despite…
b) They’re not going to play at all
c) They’re playing but it’s not together (i.e. “That damn Iranian is always behind the beat!”)
