How to win the Boss account, by leading violinist
mainWarner artist Charlie Siem explains:
His narrative of how he nabbed the spring campaign, which was shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in Chelsea, is pretty straightforward.
“I’ve got a close mutual friend with [Hugo Boss creative director] Jason Wu, who suggested me,” Siem said. “That’s about it.”
With that terse response, he glossed over his prior modeling experience, which includes editorial shoots in Vogue, CBS Watch magazine, as well as a shoot in Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld’s book “The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s Classic Revisited.” He has also appeared in Dunhill’s ad campaign and more recently, he was the face of Giorgio Armani’s Eau de Nuit fragrance.
It’s another world.
Our fashion correspondent is away this week, but that suit looks fir for Alan Yentob.
So he is basically a decent model and part time fiddler then. His website doesn’t show many concert engagements and none of them are with prestigious orchestras
I beg your pardon, Hamburg Symphony and Munich Radio Orchestra ARE prestigious orchestras.

Your comment does not relate to this post.
Maxim’s comment is in reference to Max Schubert’s assertion that Mr. Siem has no engagements with prestigious orchestras (Mr. Siem has upcoming concerts with both the Munich Radio Orchestra and the Hamburger Symphoniker according to his calendar).
Being the son of a billionaire certainly had nothing to do with meeting “the right people” for all those fashion jobs.
