He has been sick for a month, last sang in Boston, next scheduled for B9 at Brandenburg Gate on Nov. 9. October dates included a Japan tour, now postponed till next May. He has no problem with RV.

Singer of the year was Piotr Beczala. Kaufmann won for solo vocal recording.
It is the season, Automn on the Northern Hemisphere. Yesterday Cecilia Bartoli cancelled because of health reasons in Amsterdam. But apparently nothing really serious. She is rescheduled for 5th of November.
Perhaps the “singer of the year” (sic) would appreciate if you could spell his name correctly? Kaufmann!
