So how much does the NEA spend on classical music? Maybe $30 million at the most. That comes to about 30 cents per American. I hope she has a lot of dimes…

  • william osborne says:

Actually, that comes to 10 cents per American. Can you spare a dime, Ms. Baker?

  • Frank says:

Here is some information about the costs of the F-35 fighter jet. This is lifted directly from Lockheed’s site:
“Since we built the first F-35, production costs have dropped 55 percent.
The most recently contracted unit costs for Low Rate Initial Production lot 7 (not including the engine) are:
    F-35A: $98 million
    F-35B: $104 million
    F-35C: $116 million
An F-35A purchased in 2018 and delivered in 2020 will be $85 million, which is the equivalent of $75 million in today’s dollars.”
Can you guess where the priorities are?

  • Greg Hlatky says:

The priorities are in the right place. Providing for the defense of the US is a Constitutional function of the Federal government and support of the arts is not.

  • ELVIRA says:

    The way she looks…..I’m worried!
More no than yes, more politics than art.
    Hope I’m wrong
