One of the comments on FB pointed out rightfully that he makes her look so sexy. This dance is something between both dancers. I have trouble understanding why you choose such a vicious and demeaning headline to post this beautiful clip in your blog.
Absolutely agree, the headline is more than “uncalled for”, it’s vicious and stupid. I’m wondering if Mr. Lebrecht has any mirrors in his home. He might learn something from looking into one.
This man in the video is a wonderful dance partner. he does exactly what has to be done: he showcases his beautiful partner.
It’s a stylised tango and it’s beautifully done. Shame about those infantile yelps in the background which now seem to be an obligatory demonstration of enthusiasm.
Well, yeah, great to look at, but headache-inducing “music.”
Long live baldies!
Couldn’t agree more with the comment by Gerhard, the headline is patronising, demeaning and fails to recognise the skill of the male dancer. So he is dressed a little “left field”….so what!
Hopefully NL will now post a video of himself dancing with such skill and “dressed up to the nines”………….I await with baited breath!
“Well, yeah, great to look at, but headache-inducing “music.”
…………..was it Wagner or the psychedelic blues of Jimi Hendrix?
I agree with this headline. The dance can only be so sexy when the man looks like that.
Isn’t it terrible that opera critics decided to criticise Octavian for her appearance at Glyndebourne rather than focus on her performance?
How, Norman, does the same not apply here? The guy is older, and yes, he’s got less hair. But his dancing is really pretty good. So lets not cast insults. Even if his dancing was poor, which it really wasn’t, I don’t think his hair is relevant.
As I’m losing it on top (both inside and outside my cranium) I declare this headline to be the official Slipped Disc scandal for 2014. It’s “Baldgate”.
