Does this apply playing chords in rhytms and speed as well?!
All credits to D. Kurganov? Zakhar Bron has been teaching this trick for the Bach Chaconne for the past 40 years…
I definitely didn’t invent this technique! I think Joe Venuti was the first to be known for it, but probably people have done this for centuries 😉
That’s two minutes of my life I will never get back.
He certainly deserves credit for making the video, but definitely not for inventing the “trick”. It was known since at least half a century ago when as a child I learned it from older students in my music school.
Daniel Kurganov plays badly, he is very often badly out of tune, he uploads bits of the pieces that he is not capable of playing whole, he is extremely rude under his other nickname AlexK (former “akurganov” username), bans anyone who notices any flaws in his playing. Arvertising standards regulatory bories should take a closer look at his “story”, his “conservatoire” education that he seems to claim to get after 1 year of practice. All this is my personal opinion.
