An adventurous French pianist has died, aged 78
mainGérard Frémy, who studied with Henrich Neuhaus at the Moscow Conservatoire and went on to work with Stockhausen and John Cage (pictured), has died at the age of 78. His disciples include Cédric Tiberghien, Jérôme Ducros and Nicolas Stavy.
