Breaking: US orchestra appoints music director, 26
mainLouisville today appointed Teddy Abrams, 26, as music director. Abrams is assistant conductor in Detroit. He says he has learned in Detroit how an orchestra can rise from ashes. Louisville almost went out of business last year.
Five years younger than the Dude, Abrams will enjoy lots of goodwill as the new kid on the block.
