Colorful orchestration and nice harmonies
Beginning seemed influenced by Britten’s “Peter Grimes” sea music
Later in the piece more influenced by Philip Glass.
Occasionally sounded somewhat machinelike although performance or score hid this by being too elegant and refined.
Interesting piece by a young composer.
