I lived in Montreal 2001-3 and went to all sorts of concerts by all sorts of groups – it’s an incredible city for music – but I never heard of the Montreal Chamber Orchestra.
Indeed, the Montreal Chamber Orchestra is not exactly known for its quality standards, and definitely not an essential part of the Montreal music scene.
