At last, something to believe on Fox News
mainWe were delighted, if a little bemused, to read about an exciting new presenter on Fox News.
“Lebrecht will bring a fine appreciation of fine culture to our viewers,” said Fox News chief Roger Ailes. “He just told me about this Mahler guy! I’m having all our shows open with different sections of the Symphony No. 5 starting next week!”
Only the date of the report let us down.
Nice one, Micaela Baranello.
the opening of both the 1st and 2nd movements would suit this purpose well, if a little bit on the histrionic side of things.
very apt pairing isn’t it?
You love to say nasty, and usually wrong, things about Fox. But if you would act like a real, educated, honest journalist you would discover that Fox is more accurate and balanced that ANY of the other news outlets in the US. MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS have repeatedly been caught lying, making things up, grossly distorting the truth to support their liberal leftist agenda. Fox is trusted by viewers at a rate far exceeding any other source. Not all classical music lovers are liberal lemmings. Some of us value liberty, integrity, and freedom over big, oppressive, liberal government.
Martin, please pass the Kool-Aid.
This just in: people who watch Fox News don’t have a sense of humour. Not even on April Fool’s Day!
“Fox is trusted by viewers at a rate far exceeding any other source.”
If this is a true statement, all it reveals is that Fox viewers are trusting. It does not indicate that Fox actually provides trustworthy reporting. And a large amount of anecdotal evidence suggests that Fox’s viewers’ trust is sadly misplaced.
You have no idea how hilarious your comments are to anyone living outside of the US.
Would that be the lazy Eurotrash socialists or the third-world savages ?
Excellent! Your posting was so well written, it is almost believable that you are sincere. Beautiful irony!
“Fox is more accurate and balanced that ANY of the other news outlets in the US.”
That’s not saying much!
The whole of the US TV news outlets are just a bunch of blowhards, never watch them now.
Hah! The day that “that Mahler guy” regularly figures on any cable news outlet could only be, well, April 1, not perhaps coincidentally the date of this “breaking news”!
