Argentine media have announced the death of Leopoldo Federico, virtuoso of the bandoneon and founder of a tango orchestra. He was 87.

    He belonged to the “golden times” of different composers and Tango musicians in Argentina!! He has to be one of the last that still were remembered, and I feel – as an Argentenean – very proud of your hommage to Leopoldo Federico, plus last week, the death of Horacio Ferrer, that worked w/Piazzola and the other Argentenean opera: “Maria de Buenos Aires”!!!
