Carolin Wiedmann has played out-of-the-beaten-track programs with OSESP (the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra).
Last time she brought along composer-clarinetist-conductor brother Jőrg. Fabulous musicians.
She is certainly more than “the composer’s sister”. She was already an established artist when he came onto the scene and used her influence to get his (and other composers’ which she generously supported) works performed. But nice that finally also the UK noticed her…
