Russia starts to rebuild Alexandrov Ensemble
mainThe former Red Army Ensemble, which perished in the Black Sea air crash while en route for Syria, will be formed again, it was announced today. Competitions will take place across Russia to recruit 70 singers.
A former artistic director of the ensemble, Colonel Gennady Sachenyuk, has been put in charge of the renewal.
