RIPThe death has been reported of Luca Simoncini, founding cellist of the Nuovo Quartetto Italiano and professor at the Venezze conservatory in Rovigo. Luca fell prey to a rapid illness.
Before founding the quartet, with which he made multiple recordings, he was a frequent concert soloist.
