Well, I don’t know what comment to make, but I’m glad of course that Daniel Baremboim is now on the mend, and back to doing what he enjoys – conducting. I also hope that he will come back to taking puano masterclasses.
I devoutly hope so; he looks so frail! I cherish so many memories of him here in Chicago.
Barenboim is a fighter. He will recover or go down fighting.
I saw Daniel Barenboim in1978 in Edinburgh at the IF. He was playing Schubert impromptus and other pieces. I was 12 years old and begining my interest of Classical music. I hope he is feeling better and continues to entertain the public
Old age has nothing going for it apart from a deeper understanding of great art. Yes, but it’s a considerable compensation!!
Shouldn’t it be ‘a’ concert of the Berlin Staatskapelle?
