The German-Jewish Songbook, published in 1912, was an extraordinary document of cultural exchange – Hebrew songs with German tunes, and vice-versa.

The new edition, printed by Schott at a time when Germany has Europe’s fastest-growing Jewish population, is edited by Gila Flam of the Hebrew University.

Available in Germany only, at present.
