UK music director cancels with head injury
NewsWe’ve had alarming news from the Nuremberg Symphony:
Jonathan Darlington should have conducted this Sunday’s subscription concert but he has suffered ‘a serious accident with a laceration on his head’. Doctors have advised him not to travel beyond his Paris home. He is likely to be out for 3-4 weeks.
His replacement will be Michele Gamba, of Milan.
Falls are a very common form of injury among the aged.
