Just in: Scotland scraps arts cuts

As a sign of change since Nicola Sturgeon’s resignation, her deputy John Swinney announced today that a 10% cut in the Creative Scotland budget will not now go ahead.

That restores £6.6 million to the Scottish arts sector.

Might Arts Council England follow suit? (Some hopes.)
