Vienna, 23 February 2023. Much ado about nothing is the best way to describe the accusation against the director of the Semmering Cultural Summer, Florian Krumpöck, which caused a great stir in the media. It all came to nothing before the Vienna Regional Criminal Court. The defendants were able to convince the court of their innocence with a large number of documents, including emails, Whatsapp chats, invoices and witness statements.

Director Florian Krumpöck said: “We are delighted that our innocence has finally been clarified and proven in court with this acquittal and that we have been able to completely refute the false allegations made by individuals. It is clear to us that all these accusations were obviously orchestrated by certain individuals to harm us and the Kultur.Sommer.Semmering. I am glad that the judicial authorities did not allow this to happen and that the truth took precedence. The acquittal will hopefully restore our good reputation – not a single accusation could stand up to objective scrutiny”.

“Where do I go to get my reputation back?” The damage has been done
