Here’s what Met staffers are being told about their faltering health care.

Hello,

As you may already know, your medical care coverage with Aetna was unexpectedly terminated on 1/13/2023. Your coverage is being reinstated retroactive to 1/13/23, so there will be no break in coverage. The AGMA Health Fund is working on the reinstatements. If you must fill a prescription, see a doctor, or attend any other medical appointment this week, please contact the AGMA Health Fund, and they will inform Aetna to not deny those appointments or prescriptions. You can reach the AGMA Health Fund at info@agmaretirement-health.org.

By way of background, the coverage was terminated because the Met was unable to process a payment due to the AGMA Health Fund because of the recent Cyber-attack. The payment that was overdue has been made, and the payment due this month is being accelerated to prevent any other coverage disruptions due to late or non-payment.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and frustration that this may have caused you and your family. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this matter.

Best,

Melissa
