Royal Academy of Music accepts Ukrainian refugee, 12

The BBC reports that a 12 year-old fugitive from the Ukraine war, Kateryna Pyshniuk, has been offered tuition at London’s RAM

Kateryna and her mother are living with a host family in Bristol, so the logistics may be tricky, especially during train strikes.

“It’s a dream – when I was in Ukraine I didn’t even wish that I would study in London, that I would perform in England, learn at the royal academy and Clifton College – it’s a good crazy thing,” Kateryna said.
