Biz news: UK agency moves in MunichNews
The London-based Intermusica Agency, which looks after the likes of Yuja Wang, Elīna Garanča and John Eliot Gardiner, has opened an office in Munich, adding to its existing bases in Berlin and Vienna.
Its Munich boss will be Dennis Gerlach, formerly of the local KünstlerSekretariat am Gasteig, where he managed Renaud Capuçon, María Dueñas and Pietari Inkinen.
The wider significance is that Munich is increasingly recognised as being vital a classical music hub as Berlin.
