The Azrieli Music Prizes (AMP) Gala Concert is only two days away! Celebrate excellence in music composition on October 20 th at 7:30 p.m. (ET) via the prize-winning works of AMP’s 2022 Laureates – Iman Habibi, Aharon Harlap and Rita Ueda. All three explore deep questions of the human condition in their music – amplifying stories and traditions that will resonate with us all. Unable to attend the live concert? Maestro Alexandre Bloch takes over the podium from Artistic Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin to conduct l’Orchestre Métropolitain for this special evening at the Maison symphonique de Montréal, featuring internationally renowned soloists Sharon Azrieli, Sepideh Raissadat, Naomi Sato and Zhongxi Wu.

This Gala performance is part of the total prize package each AMP Laureate receives – valued at over $200,000 CAD – which includes a cash award of $50,000 CAD; two subsequent international performances and a recording of the winning work for future commercial release.
