The much travelled Chinese violist Yu Sun won the audition for solo viola at the Tonhalle-Orchester Zurich this week.
Yu Sun was previously principal at the Leipzig Gewandhaus and before that in Hing Kong and Basle.

And he’s an excellent fit for Zurich.
What kind of job would be so perfect to him that he would not change place all the time? I would never hire a (principal) player who leave orchestra to another orchestra all the time. Hopely he will be happy + will stay rest of his life/career in Zurich!
