Friends mark Lars Vogt’s birthday with tears and giftsUncategorized
The much-loved German pianist, who died on Monday of a fast-moving cancer, would have turned 52 today.
Friends are sharing videos of past birthdays, when he danced on tables with a child in his arms, and of past celebrations at the festival he founded in a disused hydro-electric power station in Heimbach. Lars was the most tremendous life-force.
Many people are offering donations to a GoFundMe site set up by Zsolt Bognar to help the grieving family. Donate here.
