An English conductor rallies Nuremberg
NewsJonathan Darlington began his tenure tonight as chief conductor of the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra.

Darlington, 65, is seen as a safe pair of hands after the young Mahler competition winner, Kahchun Wong.
He’s a former head of Vancouver Opera and the Duisburg Philharmonic.
Nice to see people hiring apparent criminals – white, male, over sixty. Seems he’s talented, too. Four good reasons to consign him to the scrapheap. Shame on you, Nuremberg, but really…
