In December she is performing Rach 1 and the Paginini Variations with the Philharmonia at the Royal Festival Hall. The front stalls are almost all sold out already. The concert at the BBC Proms at which she is performing Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 is almost all sold out.
The punters agree (in London at any rate) that a Yuja Wang concert is an event worth attending.
Wonderful. Thanks to ever complied that clip. It’s so good to catch a glimpse of the lighter side of a performer’s personality. It reminds us that they, too, are human!

After so many previous almost negative articles about her and her clothing choices on this site, it is refreshing to see the humor of this extraordinary pianist. She is “over the top,” but, that does not take away from her inherent artistry.
Great girl. Who cares about her clothing anyway? Let her wear what she wants, or nothing at all for that matter. Genius talent, incredible musicianship.
