    Sweet.

  • Tim Brooke says:

So pleased to see this appearing here. The director, Philippe Leroy, taught me French conversation at school in Yorkshire in the early 80s.

    • Philippe Leroy says:

Once the clip was edited seven months after the idea of doing it my eyes were blurred with the emotion that adventurous creativity brings about. Especially as this class had been awarded a 1st national prize the year before with a 4mn-short film we had made on the freedom of speech . Glenn Miller’s “Moonlight Cocktail ” and “American Patrol” were the musical titles that served as a powerfully evocative musical backdrop. Tim Brooke I would have never thought of such a situation as today’s 39 years ago. And thank you to be here now. You were a shy guy but very sensitive.

  • Larry says:

Wonderful to hear this. On the other hand, I can’t tell you how many jazz/pop singers I’ve heard doing a ‘medley’ of McCartney’s “Yesterday” along with Jerome Kern’s “Yesterdays.” A terrible idea!
