This was captured 12 hours ago and was quickly overcome.

A Lincoln Center spokesperson said ‘(it) was extinguished without injuries or significant damage to the building’s exterior,” said the spokesperson. “We are working closely with FDNY in recovery from the incident and with Turner Construction to investigate the cause; the incident will not impact the opening timeline.’

    Looks like someone was up there…..Wow! That’s right in the area where, way back in the 90s, we were allowed to garden up there. I grew tomatoes. We made the NY Times! This was during Borda’s first stint–she had a garden box right outside her office window. I wonder if anyone else remembers that?

    Why does this merit any post at all from NL? A minor fire, on the roof of a building in NYC, with no-one hurt, and no significant damage. ‘Must be an exceedingly slow news day!
