Jonas Kaufmann’s agent sacks all his staff

They are telling people it’s for an upgrade, but they are not answering the telephones either.
So what’s going on?
We hear that Alan Green fired his entire staff last week, apart from his wife and daughter. Apparently the staff called a meeting with Green on matters they felt needed addressing and he responded by firing them all. The person who managed the website shut it down before leaving.
Something to bring a smile to the eyes: the chap[ess?] who managed the website shut it down before leaving.
Way to go…not that arts workers and wanna be manager interns in nyc are not a dime a dozen, but is this for real?

Alan Green has been lost since Bruce Zemsky died. Bruce had is issues, but Alan has been a mess for years. I could never understand how such a classy artist like Jonas would allow himself to be affiliated with such a train wreck like Alan Green. A torn and dingy denim jacket in a world of tuxedos.

This is an extremely disappointing development. Every time I spoke to Alan’s staff (I indeed have had almost zero interaction with the man himself since he was always traveling), I was struck by the professionalism, intelligence, and maturity of Penelope, Christina, and Adam. I hope this does not portend the death of this agency, but, more importantly, that these exemplary professionals land up OK. Frankly, these three could start up their own company and likely take the majority of the Zemsky Green roster themselves.
Not the best PR day for that agency. Hope the fired staff set up their own. What a dreadful way to deal with your staff at a time like this
