Kobekina today posted on her instagram that her concert in Switzerland has been canceled because of her nationality ( Russian ), happy for her Borletti-Buitoni award , and shame on Switzerland concert promoter.

  • Kobekin says:

You should write about the cancellation of her concert because of “nationality”. Its on her facebook

  • YodelMan says:

After the way she was treated this week by a Swiss promoter, she deserves this even more.

  • Gisela says:

Well deserved! Anastasia is one of the best musicians I’ve ever seen. Wonderful!

  • music lover says:

    She is absolutely superb.

    another one … who cares

I do, since you are asking.

This relentless unconditional deafening dog-whistle “Russen Raus” attitude to all Russian performers and Russian compositions is absurd and annoying.

    • music lover says:

      More than about your comment.

  • soavemusica says:

To some, a Russian competitor, in itself, might be a problem.

    Meanwhile, in Denmark:

“Save The Children Claims Russian Children Facing Bullying Over War”

Save the Children senior adviser Jon Kristian Lange emphasized that online hatred directed against Russians spreads quickly into the school yard.

And Zlatomir Fung is an American. Your point?

She’s “top of the list” because BBT presented the names alphabetically.

A shame about the Swiss gig. Other promoters will hopefully treat her as a musician first and only.

  • JoshW says:

Geneva Lewis is the one you should be paying (positive) attention to here.
