NewsThe English rock singer and composer sold his catalogue today to Universal Music for $300m, exactly the same sum as Bob Dylan.
But then Dylan didn’t do deep breathing exercises, or dolorous Dowland on DG.

If Tchaikovsky were still under copyright, I imagine he’d do pretty well. Maybe less for electronic rights but probably a lot more for live performance – Nutcracker alone would probably keep him in comfort.
