The folk and classical singer Hana Horká has died of Covid at the age of 57 after a prolonged anti-vax campaign on social media.

She announced that she caught the disease deliberately and continued mingling recklessly with others.

Her son said: ‘She went for it. She was supposed to stay away from us, but she decided to remain at home with us normally, preferring to go through the disease than to get vaccinated. It is sad that my mom trusted strangers more than her own family.”

Anti-vaxxers have proclaimed her a heroine.

    Natural selection

  • Wombatty says:

    She sure owned the Libs!

  • Karl says:

Are they sure covid killed her?
“After returning from a walk outside, she started to complain about back pain and died in her bed after suffocating, her son said in an interview for Czech Radio’s news site iRozhlas.cz.”

I read this:”Horka went for a walk outside but when she returned she started to complain about back pain and soon after, died choking in her bed.

An obituary of the singer appeared on the Asonance website and the causes of her death have not been specified.

That’s an awful quick decline. Sounds like she possibly died with covid but not OF covid. I think that’s the case with many people. Upper back pain can be a warning sign of a heart attack, especially in women.

    • Rebecca Flint says:

      Well said

    • Herr Doktor says:

Back pain is very much a Covid symptom. So perhaps it would be wiser for you to suggest that she was actually exectued by one of the Jewish lasers operating from outer space, in retribution for her truth-telling.

      • Karl says:

        From CDC:
Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
        Fever or chills
        Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
        Fatigue
        Muscle or body aches
        Headache
New loss of taste or smell
        Sore throat
        Congestion or runny nose
        Nausea or vomiting
        Diarrhea

        • Herr Doktor says:

Karl, in your clinical experience, do you believe that “muscle and body aches” doesn’t include back pain?

    • Dean says:

      Irrelevant distinction

  • M.Arnold says:

    Schmuck!

  • Ricardo says:

    Well…

  • Hannah says:

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. It sounds like she had no regard even for her own family. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

  • Peter San Diego says:

I hope her personal choice will not have endangered the lives of any others.

    • Anthony Sayer says:

      Probably didn’t.

    • Karl says:

The Chinese are the ones who endangered the lives of everyone on this planet. But for some reason calling that out is labeled anti-Asian hate. It’s OK to hate on women like this though.

    • Dean says:

Her choice indeed did endanger the lives of others, putting them at much greater risk of contracting three virus. Hopefully none did

  • Canceled Czech says:

    Live free or die!

    Oops, never mind…

  • Peter says:

It’s strange she lived this long if she refused every single vaccine offered to her.

This is how I read “anti-vax.”

    RIP, beautiful lady.

  • Anon says:

The sheer stupidity of some people is truly mind-boggling.

Oh well, at least she’s dead.

  • Viv says:

What a loving and caring woman soul she is. You are one little angel.

    • Guest says:

How is she an angel? She knowingly infected others with a deadly virus. Unless you meant angel of death.

      • Karl says:

She did not infect anyone. Even if she did it doesn’t matter because virologists are finally admitting that everyone is going to get exposed to covid eventually. That actually was known early in the pandemic, but doctors and virologists mislead the public into thinking the virus could be controlled.

      • Anthony Sayer says:

‘Deadly’? At the moment? Honestly…Sounds like she was positive while dying of something else completely. Upper back pain is an unusual symptom of CV, to say the least.

  • Alan says:

    Absolutely brain dead stuff.

A hero for the anti vax crowd? Just shows how dumb some people are.

  • La belle plus voix says:

The stupid are not necessarily intellectually challenged, they just repeat their mistakes for the benefit of others.

  • Freewheeler says:

    Play silly games…

  • Althea T-H says:

According to the newspaper article I have looked at (in The Daily Mail), Ms Horka contracted the disease in order to become eligible for a Covid pass. Her problem was that she had become infected with the Delta variant, rather than Omicron.

Her vaccinated son blames others for her fate. That is easier than blaming himself for contracting the Covid infection from which she died, I daresay; or challenging the Covid passport which – according to the newspaper – drove her to court a naturally-acquired infection, in order to regain access to theatres and saunas.

The point I am making is that in and amongst the constant blaming lies the fact that this virus originated outside Europe; nobody has held China to account for it; and no country asked to have it.

People have coped with it as best they can, and not everyone thinks the same way about the most effective way of doing that.

Everyone needs to take every precaution against spreading this thing, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated.

    • May says:

China was doing the dirty work for the USA, since there were so many accidents in the USA as a result of gain of function research, such that the USA needed an outside lab with a fresh supply of bats. The USA should be held to account for wreaking this havoc. Yes, China is also culpable for their cover-up, however for all of the nonsense that followed – lockdowns, mandates etc. – we also have the USA to thank.

    • Karl says:

EVERY precaution would mean shutting down concerts PERMANENTLY. Covid will never go away no matter what we do.

  • Rudiger says:

    Pathetic in every form.

  • Over in the colony says:

No sympathy -she got what she wanted.

  • Demi says:

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

  • Paul R. says:

And here she was so looking forward to attending the upcoming flat earth convention…

  • Herbie G says:

Everyone is entitled to be an idiot but some abuse the privilege.

  • Andy says:

They have to search worldwide to find these stories yet wont print stories of people right in our own country who have been injured by the vax.

    • Karl says:

That is a good point Andy. These vaccines are probably not as safe as we are being lead to believe. We have been lied to about many things in the pandemic. I don’t blame people for not trusting the vaccines or refusing to get vaccinated. More people die in the US every year from tobacco use (480,000) and bad diets (600,000) than covid. Why can’t we mock the porkers who have heart attacks and die after eating too much fast food?

      • Rebecca Flint says:

Again, well said, im so sick of it!

      • La plus belle voix says:

Because if you smoke or indulge in gluttony it does not affect my health. Duuhhh.

        • Anthony Sayer says:

But you clog up bed space in intensive care, which was what these covid restrictions were all about in the first place. No difference.

        • Karl says:

So you are admitting that the vaccine doesn’t work belle? If it did them the vaccinated have nothing to fear from the unvaccinated.

And if you think obese doesn’t affect others think again. “The direct medical costs associated with obesity are substantial.”
          https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3047996/

Too many sick people leads to health care rationing and delays in treatment – for the people who deserve it. Let’s let the porkers die along with the unvaccinated!

        • Neil says:

But it does if hospital treatment is diverted from the sick to a lazy fat greedy takeaway muncher (pandemic symptom).

  • Anthony Sayer says:

Nice to see the caring, tolerant bedwetters shamelessly dancing on someone’s grave amid a tsunami of upticks. Shame on you all.

  • CRogers says:

Very sad. But completely reckless behaviour. This is an imperfect analogy but was she having sex without protectcion?

  • M McAlpine says:

I cannot see how anyone who refuses to be vaccinated then dies of the disease can be classified as a ‘hero’. Presumably these brainless people would also consider those who refused vaccination against the killer diseases like smallpox, diphtheria, polio – not to mention the proposed vaccination against malaria which kills millions – to heroes too?

  • David K. Nelson says:

Well I guess if you have a theory and really believe in it …… the spirit of Franz Reichelt lives on I guess.

  • NotSheep says:

Hey sheep…. It’s obvious she died of another disease. As usual let’s add it to the false positive Covid stats!!!!!!!!
