Briggs Dorian-Lawrence was driving to a hospital appointment when he drifted off lane and into the path of an oncoming truck.

Briggs coached the String Orchestra of Decatur and Atlanta, attended six years at High Plains Music Camp at Fort Hays State University and played Messiah in December 2021 at Snow College, Utah. His final performance was with the Dorian String Quartet on Christmas Eve with Claudia, Graham, and his mother Sarah. Briggs was also a composer of string music and digital music.

Our sympathies to his family.
