The Juneau Symphony Orchestra has chosen Christopher Koch as its next music director.

Koch is presently music director of Ozarks Lyric Opera, the Missouri Philharmonic and the Madrona Festival. He is also ‘active nationally as an early music specialist (recorder) in recital, concerto, and conference performances’.

Where will he find the commuting time for Alaska?

    Looking at previous season, the orchestra only does 4 concerts a year.
