Moldova won’t give back a soloist’s GuadagniniNews
Just over a month ago, Customs officials at Chisinau Airport in Moldova seized a Guadagnini violin from the visiting international soloist Alexandra Conunova.
A week later, the Moldovan minister of culture issued a publc apology.
But the violin has not been returned.
Today, Alexandra messaged: ‘I’m still missing very much my violin….P.S Give me back my Guadagnini.’
In a separate post she writes: ‘Recent events in my life made me understand how important is for me to have a strong and supportive community.’
What is the matter with the Moldovans?
