Buniatishvili has just joined the select few living pianists who can sell out a 2,000-seat London hall with a solo recital.

Proof here.

  • Anthony Sayer says:

Maybe because she’s actually very, very good.

  • The View from America says:

That’s because you get three for the price of one.

  • Sock it to 'em says:

Who cares? Florence Foster-Jenkins also sold out…

  • BigSir says:

Cleavage and pianism are not mutually exclusive.

  • Barry Guerrero says:

Perhaps instead of trolling Khatia and trying to shame her, you could meet, sit down and actually talk to her . . . about music.

  • Tanya says:

I attended this program concert just a few days ago in Geneva’s Victoria Hall. Khatia is truly amazing.

  • Santipab says:

No, it looked like it was sold out because it was off-sale as it’s been postponed (or cancelled).

    • pjl says:

exactly! well done for doing proper research unlike…….

      • Maneater says:

Indeed, having just taken the trouble to check with the Barbican, they inform me this event is ‘postponed indefinitely’ – so much for the investigative journalism of the posts in this site, just pouncing on a provocative picture to get some ill-deserved hits as always

  • Anthony Sanderson says:

Unfortunately the concert has been cancelled according to the link now. Very upsetting for us ticlet holders.
