Thank to our exclusive relationship with OperaVision, we are delighted to offer free access from tonight to the Royal Opera’s highly praised new production of Jenufa. With Asmik Grigorian in the title role and Karita Mattila as her stepmother.

Must see.

Available from Saturday 9 October at 21.30 CET, 20.30 London and 15.30 NY until 9 November 2021.

We’re watching below. Are you?

  • Violinista Italiana says:

Asmik is very good soprano and she is very technical. But for example Maestro Riccardo Muti think she is very good and he wanted to give a “dedica” to her in Salzburg. The “dedica” of the great Maestro is very special.

  • V. Lind says:

Not sure what is exclusive about this — seems available to anyone on YT, as are all Operavision performances.

    Thanks for the heads-up, though.

  • operacentric says:

Much as I relish any chance to see opera, I don’t understand what ‘exclusive free access’ is being offered by Slipped Disc. It is an ROH recorded stream presented on Operavision, hosted on YouTube available to anyone. SD is merely posting a link to YouTube or is the ‘exclusive access’ an exclusive right to post said link – in which case I can expect a knock at the door for my Facebook page!
