The Chicago photographer Todd Rosenberg has notified us of the terrible accident suffered by his friend Chihsuan Yang, her partner Nikki and daughter Ember, leaving Chihsuan severely injured and unable to work.

Todd writes:

Sunday, I  got a text from my friend Chihsuan. She was in the hospital after she, her partner Nikki and Nikki’s daughter were hit head on by a car that had jumped the median on the highway. I am still devastated by this news. A Go Fund me site has been set up because it’s going to be expensive. Chihsuan will not be able to play because aside from the internal bleeding etc., her left hand is badly injured.

If you can, please give here. So far, $63,450 has been raised.

What unbearable tragedy. It will take great courage and will to rebuild her life. Nothing can replace playing for a musician, but let us hope she can recover and find purpose again. Her friend as well. I send my most optimistic thoughts to her.
