Sudden death of dynastic violinist, 48
NewsOne of Brazil’s most talented musicians, the violinist Gustavo Menezes, has died of a heart attack at the age of 48.
The youngest of five musician brothers, his eldest sibling is the international cellist Antonio Meneses. The other three, Eduardo, Ricardo and João, are all professional and string players. Their father, João Jerônimo, was a horn player in the Rio Municipal Theater Orchestra.
