Jurowski wins gold
NewsVladimir Jurowski was awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal Philharmonic Society last night at the BBC Proms as he ended 15 years with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. From 2001 to 2013 he was also music director of Glyndebourne Opera.
He moves on now to become general music director of Bayerische Staatsoper.
