Death of a Milstein student
RIPThe Canadian violinist Robert Rozek died this week.
A student of the venerable Nathan Milstein, he started out as concertmaster of the Zuirhc Chamber Orchestra, moving on to condut the Arturo Toscanini Orchestra in Italy.
His last position was as Director of Strings and International Relations at British Columbia Conservatory of Music in Canada.
He was a great teacher. So glad I got to know him and study with him.
